F.I.T.: Regional Manager of TidalWheel & Sampling Event

Happy First F.I.T. – Fitness Inspirational Tuesday!
Today, we will be featuring Alyssa Halter, Regional Manager of TidalWheel ~ an amazingly inspirational, full-body indoor cycling studio.
Get to know AlyssA…
My name is Alyssa Halter, and I am the Regional Manager of TidalWheel. I’m a Jersey girl, a Communications major, and a college athlete from Catawba College. After graduating and finishing my career in college athletics, I found myself craving the active lifestyle I no longer had. Running became my drug of choice, and I quickly fell into the world of healthy living as I worked my way up to marathons and half marathons.
Soon after, I started learning about how a plant-based lifestyle can alleviate health problems and support an athletic lifestyle, so I gave vegetarianism a try. One year later, I can happily say I never looked back. I suddenly had so much more energy, no digestive issues, and I felt good about what I was doing for the animals of our planet.
At TidalWheel, as the Regional Manager, I am the head of all TidalWheel studios. I have lived in Virginia Beach for almost 4 years now, but I have temporarily moved to Richmond part-time to open our second and third TidalWheel studio there. I currently travel back and forth to head operations across all three of our locations.
I believe it was actually my passion for fitness and healthy living that landed me my job at TidalWheel. Since I’m so young, I may not have as much management experience as a middle aged candidate, but the owners of TidalWheel could see that I truly believed in the power of leading a healthy lifestyle and had a passion for marketing.
Why Join Tidalwheel? Your F.I.T.-spiration…
People should try TidalWheel because it is, for many people, the first time exercise has ever been fun. Some people call it a party on a bike, some call it the best 45-minute total body workout they’ve ever found, and some just come for the atmosphere of our supportive riders and amazing instructors.
We have high-end bikes in a state of the art boutique studio. In class, our lights are turned way down. It’s low pressure, high-energy, and the our Virginia Beach riders say they have been hard pressed to find fitness classes with such a fun “team” atmosphere. We are constantly training our staff and instructors to find new ways to inspire and motivate our riders, and we certainly see results! There is so much someone can take away from a TidalWheel class.
Plus, there are no memberships! Someone can buy a 1, 5, 10, 20, or 50 ride series (a package that doesn’t expire for a year!), or they can pay up front for unlimited series so they can ride as often as they please. We have a lot of options for people with all kinds of different schedules and budgets. See the schedule at www.tidalwheel.com!
