Hi! I’m Jesse Lane and I’m a cheerful Holistic Nutritionist and founder of Jesse Lane Wellness, a web based holistic nutrition practice and holistic recipe resource. I am also the resident Holistic Nutritionist at Yellow Gazebo Natural Health Care Clinic in Toronto. I am passionate about nutrition and work with my clients help them exceed their wellness goals. I help them adopt fun healthy habits that they can get excited about.

I #livemyhealth by sharing my knowledge and healthy recipes with the world. I post informative health related articles on my website and I share my knowledge at the wellness workshops I conduct in Toronto. I also love to play in the kitchen and create holistically delicious recipes that accommodate a wide variety of food allergies, diets and lifestyle choices. Below is a sample of one of the delicious recipes found in my eBook.
APPLE PIE SMOOTHIE
This Apple Pie Smoothie is sweetened with apple and spiced with ginger and cinnamon so it tastes just like apple pie. It contains a handful of spinach, but I promise you won’t be able to taste it! This delicious smoothie is gluten-free and can be enjoyed warm or cold.
1/2 cup water
1 apple, roughly diced
1 handful of baby spinach
1/4 cup gluten free oats
1/2 inch ginger, peeled
1/2 Tbsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 scoop vanilla protein powder *optional
Juice 1/4 a lemon and pour the juice into a high powered blender or food processor.
Add the water, apple, spinach, oats, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and protein powder and blend until very smooth.
You can enjoy at this smoothie at room temperature or cool it down by blending in ice cubes. To enjoy it warm, either heat it by running your Vitamix for 5 minutes or gently warm it in a pot on the stove.
