Today we are featuring the beautiful Megan Kelly, of Renewing All Things, and TWO of her fabulous recipes, instead of just one – cookie dough balls and peach ice cream!
I’m Megan Kelly, a Licensed Esthetician turned health coach specializing in healing nutrition, woman’s hormones, and spiritual health. Spreading the word that the thoughts we think, the food we eat, and the toxins we avoid literally control how our genes express themselves.

I am a believer that all areas of life come together to create true health – everything from nutrition, time in nature, relationships, exercise, relaxation/stress management, creativity, and spiritual connection. Each day I strive to do something to nourish not only my body, but my mind and spirit as well.
I am passionate about listening to my body. Learning what it needs, and what it doesn’t need. The wonderful thing about this is, it changes every day!
Because our body and our hormones go through a cycle each month, I have found that my body is better at doing certain activities at certain times in the month. Everything from type of exercise to type of thinking, it changes every week.
I believe in honoring that cycle, and listening to your body to determine what activities and foods are best for you at that time depending on how hormones are affecting the brain and body.
I believe adjusting the food we eat, how we move, and how we think each day depending on our new needs allows the most productivity and purpose through time.
Food plays such a large part in this life balance. When we flood our cells with nourishing foods, it supports every system in the body. With websites and places like Fruitive, there are so many delicious options to treat your body. Eating real food, mostly plants, provides energy, a sound mind, and a healthy body ready to change the world.
4 INGREDIENT RAW COOKIE DOUGH BALLS
1 cup walnuts or cashews
3/4 cup shredded coconut
1 cup dates
1 tablespoon coconut oil
pinch of salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons cacao nibs or dark chocolate chips (optional)
1. Place all ingredients into high-speed blender except the cacao nibs. Slowly blend until fully broken down and combined. You may need to stop the blender to stir the mixture to make sure all pieces are breaking down.
2. Take the mixture and place in a bowl. Use your hands to fold in the cacao nibs so they spread evenly.
3. Take a tablespoon of the cookie dough and roll around in your palms, forming a ball. Store balls in freezer or fridge.
3 INGREDIENT PEACH ICE CREAM
2 cups frozen peaches
1/2 cup almond butter
1 tablespoon agave/honey (optional)
pinch of cinnamon (optional)
1.Slice peaches and freeze overnight.
2.Blend frozen peaches with nut butter in a high-speed blender.
3.Blend until creamy. It will take a couple minutes and you may need to stop and keep pushing the batter around and down with a spatula.
4.Add in honey or stevia if desired and continue blending.
5.Scoop and eat!
