Recipe Friday: AB & J Smoothie Bowl

AB & J smoothie bowl

Happy Recipe Friday!


Serves 1-2

1/2+ cup Vanilla Almond or Cashew Milk
1 to 2 handfuls of spinach
1/2 frozen banana
1 frozen Sambazon acai packet
1/2 cup frozen blueberries or strawberries
2 tablespoons almond butter (or peanut butter, sunflower butter, or cashew butter!)

Toppings: kiwi, strawberries, blueberries, banana, shredded coconut, hemp seeds, &/or granola!

First add the almond or cashew milk, then the spinach, then the frozen fruit, and lastly, the almond butter into a high-speed blender.
Blend until smooth.
If you want your smoothie base consistency to be thinner, add more almond milk, then blend again. If you want your smoothie bowl base to be thicker, add some ice cubes or more frozen fruit and blend again.
Pour smoothie into your favorite bowl.
And lastly, add toppings! Pictured toppings: kiwi, hemp seeds, granola, and shredded coconut.
