Avocado Toast is all the rage these days – which is totally understandable, since Avo-Toast is beyond delicious!!!
But, let’s look beyond the smushed avocado, salt, and pepper basics and spruce it up a bit. Surprise your friends, excite your instagram followers, and satisfy your tummy with these quick tricks!
1. Double up on your healthy fats and protein and sprinkle on some hemp seeds or chia seeds!!
2. Want a creamier concoction? Spread on your favorite hummus first, then add the avocado schmear.
3. Add a citrus twist – squeeze on a little lemon or lime to enhance the flavor.
4. Plot Twist – make it spicy – add cayenne, red pepper flakes, and/or some jalapeño slices!
5. Make it greener! Top it off with some spinach, arugula, curly kale, sprouts, and/or broccoli.
